We were invited by Eltham Primary School to partake in a three day artist residency program as part of Art Week. Together with students and art teachers, we created a sensor based projection installation. The final installation senses children’s movements to reveal a magical character behind a glass door to make kids giggle!
Tachin Tachan - Digital Music Toy

A musical instrument in the form of a digital toy that encourages children
to explore musical sounds with physical movements and interactions. You don't
just tap on the screen, but you can blow, clap and shake to make sounds
PanPaTan - Digital Music Toy

PanPaTan is a Multiplayer Digital Toy designed to explore musical sounds
encouraging social interaction bringing the joy of sharing when playing with
technology, rather than being isolated on a screen.
PanPaShake - Digital Music Toy

PanPaShake is designed with a simple interaction of playing music by
shaking a device. It plays just like a musical box, the tune develops, the more
the participant physically shakes. Using the joys of traditional analog musical
toys within digital setting.
Big Smile - Digital Photography Toy

Big Smile is an Augmented Reality Mobile Application, that invites the
participant to bring commonplace objects to life by layering a playful,
animated face on the desired object or place. Initiating humor, happiness
and creativity, Mosster encourages an artistic collaboration with the user,
allowing this tool to craft personalised compositions, which aims to add delight
into the normality of everyday existence.
Muralit - Interactive Digital Installation

Any wall becomes a mural of bright colors and textures, this interactive
installation brings people together to co-create while generating a great atmosphere that stimulates creativity. People experience the enjoyment
of painting as a creative collective or as a solo artist. When inviting a
skilled artist, the activation turns into an interactive performance piece.
Ball Game - Interactive Digital Installation

As an exploration on play and creativity, this is an immersive and
interactive puzzle-like experience of striking visuals projected on a wall.
Visitors take on their hands simple cardboard cubes and move them around
to accomplish a specific goal, participants realize the need of working as a
team and get together to exercise their creative problem solving skills and
have a lot of fun!
Musical Blocks - Interactive Music Installation

Building blocks were used to create some playful musical tunes. Each block
has a different sound when placed in it’s correct spot, and once the blocks
are all in a line, a tune can be heard.
Tumbling Bricks - Interactive Digital Installation

Colourful tumbling bricks, are projected onto a blank wall to create an
interactive experience. Visitors are invited to participate moving physical cardboard
boxes around and pushing the virtual tumbling bricks out of the
way. The participants, are encouraged to socially engage with other users,
use physical full-body movement to action a desired outcome.
Edible Piano - Interactive Music Installation

Edible Piano is a guided interactive experience, where participants are
invited to play a musical piano that is connected by the participant using real
fruits and vegetables. When each of the fruits and vegetables are connected
successfully, they are then rewarded with an Edible Piano which plays a tune.
Using problem solving and design thinking skills this immersive experience is
engaging, creative and an educational way to play with food.
Conduct-What!? - Guided Experience

Conduct-What?! was a guided experience and arts education workshop,
about getting kids to not just learn about conductivity, but to think constructively
and how to implement design thinking methods to creatively solve a problem.
A collaborative creation where the kids learn to test ideas, while experiencing
the beauty of working together towards a common goal.
Light Forest - Digital Placemaking Installation, 2015

A Digital Architectural Projection presented at Project The Junction Festival City
of Darebin. It is a magical light forest that covers a whole abandoned house
and changes seasons over time. We created this installation having in mind a
community populated by families with kids and their petitions for more playgrounds
and vegetation around the area. Our Light Forest then acts as celebration of our need
for keeping a strong connection with nature even if
we live immersed in cities.
Spooky Halloween - Public Art Installation, 2016

As a little trick ‘n’ treating celebration for the community, Mosster was commissioned
by East Melbourne Library to take over parts of the library facade with a digital placemaking, light installation. The playful animations of ghouls, ghosts and creepy, cute characters, invite a sense of Mosster’s other worldly quirk to an
everyday public space.
Mother’s Day Celebration - Stop Motion & 3D Animation Video

As an in-house project for Mosster, the studio created a stop motion and
3-D animation video exploring diversity among mothers all around the world.
A visual and creative project to inspire happiness and share a sense of joy
through all cultures and communities.
Abstractor Trick - Animated Promotional Video

Playing with animation, augmented reality, sound and video design, we
created an immersive audio visual experience. Designed to invite the viewer
into a dream like world, where boundless possibilities exist, encouraging the
audience to question what they are seeing and perceptions of reality.
Kids Day - Animated Promotional Video

Mosster filmed and produced a personal promotional video celebrating
International Kid’s Day. We think that kids should be kids, and play is the best
way for them to learn. This video represents the innocence in play and
happiness that comes from within when using imagination and simple toys.
Kibo Robo - Tactile Coding Workshop

We don't like the idea of sitting in front of a computer to learn how to code!
Please no! Yawn! Play is a big part of how kids learn, and it shouldn’t be
any different even if it's learning about coding. And that's how we taught kids
to learn coding without a screen.

In this workshop and guided experience, we broke down how video
conferencing works in its simplest form. Our learning activities were hands
on and kids got to play with objects such as servers, networks, cables,
islands and people!

Using infographics and design thinking principles, Mosster explores how
video conferencing technology works, through a series of detailed illustrations. Empathy and storytelling are used to engage the viewer through a journey of technological discovery.

As part of our Kibo Robo workshop and guided experience, we produced
a booklet for the kids to take home that teaches them concepts of coding.
Our kids were very young, so we decided to use visual design to explain coding
rather than the english language.

Playing with Augmented Reality is something that we do a lot in the studio.
We placed an AR mountain with our own play toys, and voila we have a
beautiful scene to celebrate Mountain Day with.
The Girl Who Only Had One Ear - Animated Short Film

The Girl Who Had Only One Ear was a short animated film that tells the story
of how a little girl overcome her challenges. A beautiful story that promotes
ompassion, empathy, and acceptance.

Invisible Light Garden is an immersive and interactive digital installation that creates different ways to explore connections and influences by transforming an empty dark space into a “light garden”. The piece was co-created with kids at ArtPlay &
City of Melbourne.

Two uniquely different installation created for two groups as part of
Scienceworks Winter School Holiday activities. The Laser Maze was created
to challenge young school kids, physically and mentally. The Laser Forest was
a magical place filled with laser forest as a place of tranquility for everyone.
Windowsill - Projection Light Installation, August 2017

The “Windowsill” is a light installation created to bring to life a forest that comes
from within. It encourages visitors to slow down, and watch closely to discover a
myriad of plants that grow and change following the seasons. The installation
was part of the West Projections Festival and the Walk of Resistance walking tour.
Dancing Lights - Projection Light Installation, August 2017

Collaborated with Wheelie Good Fun and Born to Boogie, we created Dancing Lights
as part of the West Projections Festival. Dancing Lights is a family friendly event, giving
people a new way to experience projection art by Mosster.

Escape to everywhere and explore augmented reality through play, AR graffiti,
tumbling boxes, a ball game and musical boxes. Mosster’s AR experiences was hosted
at East Melbourne Library, as part of Book Week celebration for children.
As usual, our play with technology encourages physical and creative play.
Walking Through a Songline - Immersive Light Installation, Sep 2017 - Feb 2018

Commissioned by the National Museum of Australia, we created
“Walking Through A Songline”, an immersive architectural light installation,
as an honouring and welcoming experience to the “Songlines: Tracking the
Seven Sisters” aboriginal art exhibition.
Mini White Night - Hawthorn West Primary School

Hawthorn West Primary School commissioned Mosster to create a projection based installation to host a Mini White Night for the school. The children participated in
the event by drawing their own light projection design. We turned 379 drawings into
a light projection that was then projected onto the front facade of the school for
the light festival.
